hey guys just saw some guy saying his weapon is dual vamp just want to know wat this is ,

also if someone could post a picture of a weapon with dual vamp, that would be awes

A double vamp weapons is a weapon that can only be obtained as a drop in tyria and cantha.

Its a +XX% dmg with -1 hp regen condition (where a maxed XX will be 15).
When you add a vampiric suffix mod to it it will make it a -2 hp regen (aka as double vamp)

As a sidenote, there also exist drops with a +XX% dmg with -1 energy regen condition.

Why would you want -2 degen?

It's principaly for pvp.

It's used to kill himself faster in order to gain precious seconds (for respawning in the maps with a 2mins auto-res for exemple).

For pve, the only interest i see is for killing himself faster during afk vanquishing services.

When needing to kill yourself, it goes faster with -2 degen.

Also if farmign in Hm with a perma sin,scatter can be avoided if you're below a certain amount of health (something like 66 or 75%)

Because when you farm in normal mode or hard mode, enemies scatter if you're at full HP. I use mine with a devotion shield while perma'ing to get my HP down to like 5 and then switch to a staff, so in essence I have -40 HP.

And losing 4 HP a second is a lot faster then 2, trust me.

What really irks me that enemies will STILL scatter when you have low HP, it's just a lot harder to achieve and is normally only in HM.

Method 4 of doing Dunes of Despair (on GW:W). You pop the scarab, kill it, necrotic traversal over. The rest of the party however has to kill themselves. In lieu of everyone bringing a sacrifice skill, you bring a vamp weapon instead. Once dead the person who necro'd over to the scarab, then rebirth's the deceased across the gap, so you can do the bonus with no time problems and not having to worry bout keeping the Ghostly alive.

Chasing rabbits (off-topic) but there's also a large area that can be mapped that way there as well.

heres a picture like you asked

these are most often used to kill yourself when consumables are active. A regular vamp weapon wont work so the extra degen is needed

These are also very useful to kill yourself if your character ever gets stuck in a wall or terrain glitch.

they also can be used for deathleveling pets, you will die alot faster, which means your future pet will gain more xp faster and lvl up faster

And.....these vamp weapons have been used to kill yourself since the days of pre and getting lvl 20 for Legendary Defender of Ascalon - Death Leveling.. but only -1 that is
